The Maryland Band Directors Association (MBDA) and Maryland Orchestra Directors Association (MODA) sponsor an All State Band, Jazz Ensemble and All State Orchestra, respectively. Membership in these ensembles is very selective and is determined by a Statewide audition. In order to audition for these ensembles, students must have an “A” in Band/Orchestra and be nominated by their school instrumental music educator.

Participation will require a commitment of time before or after school. Interested students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of these performance opportunities.
